Heavy Jet Charter in Avon
Big groups and long nonstop legs need an aircraft with the seats, fuel and galley to match. We review your route, runway and passenger load first, then tell you plainly whether a heavy jet fits the trip or whether something smaller will do.
Large-Cabin Jets and the Trips They Suit
This class covers the largest business aircraft in charter: the Gulfstream G450 and G550, the Dassault Falcon 900 series and the Bombardier Global family. Seating usually runs from about 10 to 16 passengers. On longer flights a cabin attendant is typically aboard, and the range is enough to cross the country or an ocean without stopping for fuel.
That size has a cost, so we do not start with the aircraft. We start with the trip. If eight passengers are flying two hours, a super-midsize jet usually does the job for less, and we will say so. A heavy jet earns its place when you need the seats, the baggage space, the range or a cabin where people can actually sleep.
We have been in business 5 years, and the most useful thing we have learned is that the right answer comes from the numbers on your trip, not from the biggest aircraft on the list.
What Your Heavy Jet Charter Includes
A trip review before any recommendation
We look at passenger count, baggage, departure and arrival airports, runway length and the nonstop distance. Then we tell you what we found and which aircraft class fits, even if it is smaller than you expected.
Operator and aircraft record checks
Before we put an aircraft in front of you, we review the operator's FAA Part 135 certificate and the aircraft's history. If something does not look right, that aircraft does not make the shortlist.
An all-inclusive, point to point quote
Aircraft, crew, fuel, standard fees and taxes are rolled into one figure. A one-way booking is priced as one way, so round trip pricing is never added to legs you are not flying.
A cabin built for long flights
Heavy jets typically offer full stand-up headroom, a galley for hot meals, a private lavatory and seats that recline flat. We confirm the WIFI equipped aircraft and catering details before departure.
Room for pets and real luggage
Pets are allowed, and the large baggage holds take golf bags, skis and trade show cases. We note everything on the trip sheet so the crew plans weight and balance correctly.
Signs a Heavy Jet Is the Right Call
More than about nine passengers
Once the group passes the seating of a super-midsize jet, splitting into two aircraft often costs more than one heavy jet and complicates the day.
A nonstop leg over five or six hours
Smaller jets may need a fuel stop on coast-to-coast or international legs. A heavy jet's range removes that stop and the hour or more it adds.
Overnight or red-eye travel
If passengers need to arrive rested, flat-reclining seats and a quiet cabin matter more than they do on a short hop.
Heavy baggage or equipment
Sports teams, production crews and families on long trips can exceed what a midsize baggage hold safely carries.
How We Arrange Your Flight
- 1
The phone call
You tell us dates, passengers, airports and anything unusual. We are reachable around the clock for time-sensitive trips.
- 2
Our findings
We check runway length, range, weight and operator records, then explain what we found in plain terms. If a heavy jet is more aircraft than you need, we tell you that before quoting.
- 3
Your all-inclusive quote
You get one point to point figure with no hidden costs. Nothing is booked until you approve it.
- 4
Departure day
You arrive at the FBO, usually a short time before departure, with no terminal lines. The crew loads bags, briefs passengers and you are on your way.
What Moves the Price of a Heavy Jet
Heavy jets have the highest hourly operating costs in charter because they burn more fuel and carry larger crews. The final figure depends mostly on the trip itself. We break down each factor on the phone so the quote makes sense.
- Flight time and routing
- Total flying hours drive most of the cost. Winds aloft and air traffic routing can add time on long westbound legs.
- Aircraft positioning
- When the closest suitable aircraft is based out of state, ferrying it to the Indianapolis area shows up in the quote. We look for jets already nearby to keep those hours low, and because we price by the leg, you are not billed for a return flight you never take.
- Crew and overnights
- Long legs may require an augmented crew, and multi-day trips include crew lodging and daily fees.
- Airport and international fees
- Landing, handling and customs fees vary by airport. Busy FBOs and international arrivals cost more.
Heavy Jet Charter Questions
Something not covered here? (317) 643-8728
How many people can we bring?
Expect room for roughly 10 to 16 passengers, depending on the model and how the cabin is laid out. On overnight flights some seats convert to berths, which lowers the usable count. We confirm the exact configuration before you book.
Can a heavy jet use a small regional airport?
Sometimes, but not always. Heavy jets often need 5,000 feet of runway or more, and a short runway can force a reduced fuel or passenger load. That is one of the first things we check on your trip.
Is a heavy jet worth it for a short flight?
Usually not. On a short domestic leg a midsize or super-midsize jet gives similar comfort for less. We will recommend the smaller aircraft when the numbers point that way.
Does the price include everything?
Yes. Our quotes are all-inclusive, covering crew, fuel, standard fees and taxes. Optional extras like special catering are listed separately before you approve.
Do I have to sign a contract or prepay for future flights?
No. Each heavy jet charter is booked and priced on its own, and you owe nothing beyond the trip you approve. Fly with us once for a single event, or come back next year when the group travels again. The choice stays with you each time.
